The FFC business section is useful
For fly fishing businesses: FFC connects businesses with potential customers
Business owners have a lot of incentive to add their business details on FFC.
Just by posting key data such as business location (city, state), lat/long, and the destinations a business spends the most time servicing
will put a business in front of the appropriate angling audience. An example: a business gets a pinpoint on all relevant Google Maps that are displayed on the FFC site (state maps, destination maps, etc). It's a mutually beneficial presentation of simple data.
In addition, FFC offers opportunity to automatically connect fly anglers with businesses based on how much interaction a business has with the FFC site.
The more condition reports a business adds, the more exposure to anglers said business will have. There are also several key technical services FFC
has setup specifically focused on growing a fly fishing business's customer base.
Another quick example: anytime a user indicates that they plan on visiting a certain destination that matches one of the business' destinations, the business is notified.
There's a lot more to discover and take advantage of if you are the owner of a fly fishing business. Learn more
if you are a fly fishing business owner/manager.
For fly anglers: FFC connects fly anglers with nearby and/or relevant businesses
Fly anglers looking for a business that caters to a certain water will find it very easy to connect using FFC. Just find the water and voila, the businesses that have indicated they are familiar with that water
will appear with a map placement and contact info. Simple! Fly anglers can also leverage the "nearby" links to find businesses near their current location based on smartphone and/or browser. There are also
several geographic searches available that can put anglers in touch with businesses such as state, city, zip, county, etc.

Capt. Bill Boynton (river1)
added the following Guide Service: river marine outfitters
Description: Welcome to River Marine Outfitters
A fishing guide is a person who is not tied to his own agenda, but a person whose purpose is to give you the best fishing experience possible.
River Marine Outfitters is the most raccoon-eyed, fish seeing, boat rowing, fly casting, gore-tex wearing, fish netting guide you’ll ever find.
“This institution is an equal opportunity provider and is operated under special use permit with the Huron Manistee National Forests.”
I have launched River Marine Outfitters, a small independent Fly Fishing outfitter based here in Manistee, with the goal of providing the best possible guide service in NW Michigan.
By doing this, I am able to utilize my affiliations with The Northern Angler fly shop in Traverse City, Michigan while simultaneously, maintaining my freedom to implement my own program. What does this mean to you? Simply put everything. First of all, the days of hidden costs associated with a day on the river are gone, everything but your fishing license is included: flies, tippets, leaders, lunches, transportation, and gear everything. You will not be given a fly bill, you will not pay for rental gear, you will not pay for shuttles, and you will only pay for the guide day. That is it. End of story.

(Hannibal, New York)
Description: Fly fishing for steelhead, large lake run brown trout, and salmon on tributaries of Lake Ontario. I fish off the beaten path, on smaller uncrowded streams. I have one mile of private posted water on one stream and exclusive access to another mile nearby. Strictly catch and release on primarily wild fish. Mostly floating line and occasional sink tips. I will fish larger water like the Oswego River when conditions dictate and/or for a change of pace, but most of my trips are on smaller private water. We fish alone.
