I had a great trip recently with Ca. Guide service. Clint took me on a super trip with lunch & great talk. I recommend him to anybody who needs some help learning the ropes. You can call him at 888-939-6667 or go to his web site at Red Moose Lodge.

The Hodenpyl stretch is fishing good as water temps fall. Below Tippy the water is a little cooler and the Trout action is picking up again with Browns feeding heavily on Salmon row. The Kings are on the move big time, we have been doing well using Steelhead Buggers. A lot of Salmon are now spawning in the upper river. We are now taking Steelhead in the lower river sections most everyday.   |  Reply

As 9/26/06 the King Salmon run is in full swing. We will reach peak numbers of fish in our rivers this weekend! Cooler nights and rain have dropped water temps and fishing has picked up dramatically. Understand that each river has different characteristics such as water temps and spawning runs, so check with a local shop or guide service to see what's going on at any particular time in a particular stream. Most all streams are doing well at this time.   |  Reply
