Steve Hancock (susquehannafly&spin) reported - 2 - Good fly fishing on the Susquehanna River, Pennsylvania
August 17, 2010 Susquehanna River Fly and Spin Guide Service Fishing Report: The Susquehanna River shared her fruits today as my anglers from the caymen islands experienced their first freshwater fishing outing. They hooked several smallies during the day and even a big catfish which made a drag screaming run before breaking one of the anglers line. With all things in our favor toward the end of the day everything came together and they even managed to catch 2 fish at the same time to end the day with a smile and a nice picture. To experience summer time fishing here on the Susky Give us call to get "Get Bent and Sling Some String!" Tight Lines EVeryone! -----<*)}}}}}}>< (08/20/10)

Susquehanna River fishing report for march 2010 by guide Steve Hnacock: The river is receeding form recent flood conditions should be a greatweek stretch of weather and fishing as they are beginning to become more active, before high water we were catching smallies on fly with full sinking line. next few weeks should be good and continue to get better as we go through the spring months. If you want get to them give me call to book a trip, end of march is just about filled up and am now into april so lets go sling some string! http://www.susquehannaflyandspin.com (03/19/10)
Steve Hancock (susquehannafly&spin) reported - 4 - Poor fly fishing on the Susquehanna River, Pennsylvania
The Susquehanna River remains open free of ice and there are oppotunities for some fly fishing when the musky are feeding near the surface on small baitfish and other small fish. In november we were taking Musky and even some Walleye on fly. Its a patient bite waiting for the opportunities to arise and being in the right place at the right time. If you never had a musky take a fly its an awesome experience. Early spring will be hear before you know it so if cold weather fly fishing isn't your game we are booking for spring trips as well. Spring fishing includes smallmouth bass and carp on fly. Check my november report for musky on fly pics, videos, and other info about us at http://wwww.susquehannaflyandspin.com (01/24/10)
